July 4th

For the 4th we went camping with my family, and despite the fact that we only got to see them for part of the camping trip (we weren't able to make it to camp until late in the day, on the 4th, by then by the time we got there my fam had left to see the fireworks, and then we had to leave the next day) we had fun. The last day we got to so some shooting, something I'd been wanting to do for quite awhile now. (My dad makes guns so...after living in a household without guns for awhile I started miss it...shh don't tell my fam.)


And long story short--we got to the camping spot even later because we took the wrong turn, trying to go on a dirt road that our Passat's undercarriage said no to, and after a quick check to make sure it was still on (we've had it pop partially off before) we finally made it. It was quite an afternoon really because as soon as we got there the storm clouds started rolling in. So we tried to hurry and set up the tent...or at least Kevin did...Andrew was wandering around the camp and Alane( 0r as we like to call her, "Laney girl") was wailing after having to sit in the car seat for the drive and wanted to be held. Luckily it never ended up raining. Ahh, lol...good times... Drama aside, it did leave me wanting to go camping again.
