So far things are going pretty well. We've had to change around the time that Kevin and I workout, seeing as we don't have a lot of time during the day to fit it in.
It seems that making the time, and then actually getting through the whole workout has been the hardest parts, really. If we aren't trying to squeeze it in during his lunch break, or right before we eat dinner, one of the kids is crying, or Andrew is trying to get into the cheese in the fridge (the kid loves cheese!)
I'm going to be honest...I cheated this weekend!! Our family had pizza on Friday, not abnormal in itself but we were supposed to cut out all junk food. Oh- I also snarfed a bunch of cherries this weekend. There is a local fruit shop that has cherries for 99 cents/lb. Being such a fruit lover, I couldn't resist.
I've also come to find that while a food journal is ideal, it is hard to keep one while you are maintaining a household, and taking care of two little kiddos. So after tracking for a week, I basically got the gist of what I eat and when and how to keep up my energy and about how many calories was in our staples so I've stopped tracking specifically what I eat...I'm just vaguely watching it. I found the time it took to track everything cut out a lot of my chore time. And I can't stand not being able to get my chores done...don't know what I'm gonna do when I start up my classes!

So going on to week two and I'm finding that I'm really craving carbs! I'm actually finding that if I add a small portion more each day, then I have more energy. We'll see how that works out. It seems that when I workout my body turns into a carb munching machine or something...I remember being the same when I ran in high school.
Well, I'm already looking trimmer, and its only day ten...I'm excited to see more results! :)

I wish I had the persistence and ability to even attempt this i heard how hard it is from people and they are not doing nearly as much and you and kevin wow!!! 2 babies and everyday life and still managing to try and squeeze it all in i am sooo proud of you!!!!!!
weekends are hard! i end up cheating a little, too. at least the cherry eating was cheating in a healthy way :)
if you were doing the fat shredded plan that might have something to with it....you're teeny tiny and probably don't have any fat to shred!
i definately like this next phase, one serving of carb goes a long way! :)
keep it up, sounds like you're doing great!
