After beginning writing yet again (after losing the computer files for one story that was at least 12 chapters and files for another that was a minimum of 21 chapter) I decided I was ready for some critique.
Luckily there happens to be an editing agency that posts the first 300 words of your story on their blog for open critique.
Last Monday they decided to feature my story beginning. Its great to get feedback because it helps me see shortcomings in my work that I'm not aware of.
I'd love to have comments from anyone who's interested.
Thanks in advance!

****Just a warning, its a bit graphic!****

Candice, thanks for the advice on the blood pressure. I do monitor it at home and sometimes it's slightly high (127/83), but it's never like it is in the office (157/92).
Good to know I'm not the only one with the "white coat" syndrome, ha ha.
On another note, I read your story. VERY descriptive, and yes, quite graphic. It does make me want to know what's going to happen next. Keep going with it, I'm excited to read more. . .
Hi there...hopped over from MMB. Good writing on that piece. Looking forward to getting to know you.
