Have you ever had something on your mind that was so freaking exciting that you can't sleep?
Well, that's my problem right now. Okay, except really it's only a problem because I'm trying to work through some detox-induced insomnia, but...man I really am excited.
Why, you might ask?
Well I have accomplished something that I have been striving for since I first fell in love with writing--I put together the full plot for a story I have been working on for over a year now. It's a plot that I've had in my mind, bits and pieces, but never knew how to combine.
As some of you may remember, calamity struck (delivered by my sweet Andrew boy) in the form of broken flash drives and crashed computers; My story was lost, not once, but multiple times.
I have now learned the sacred art of file-back up and computer protection, thus my story is now safe.
So I come to one of my other reasons for blogging at holy freaking 4:00 in the morning (besides the fact that I'm so excited about my plot actualization that it's spilling out of my fingers): I have a question to ask all my *6* readers. (You are all totally awesome, by the way.)
Should I start another blog, specifically for my writing, where I post the first draft of my story as I finish it? (Keeping in mind that a first draft is a rough draft, which is just that--rough!)
At this point I am up to chapter five, but now that the plot is done, I seem to write at about a min of...5 chapters/ week, give or take whether or not I receive helpful input when I am looking for it. (This is going off my inclusion of other stories that I've been working on as well, and also my history.) Hence, for this purpose I'm wondering if I should start another blog. So, what do you think? (By the way, I am now officially on summer break [woot, woot], so my fingers are free to dance the keyboard to my story's content. Plus I am free for some much needed rest and quality time with the kiddos.)
So what do you think? Yay or Nay? Comments are very welcome!

I think it might be fun and maybe a little easier to set up a seperate blog just for your writting. That way you can just print all posts when you are ready for a hard copy, or you could even just have an outlet for all the little bits of other stories I am sure you have floating in your head that just want to get out :-) I can't wait to see what you have!
Yeah, sometimes I sit and wish I had a place to just blog and post my stories and about them.
That's a good idea about printing them all out--and a blog is like an internet copy of my stuff! From my history I need all the copies I can get.
I'm thinking that if I do this, I will wait a little bit, maybe after I'm further along with the story I'm working on.
I think a creative outlet is important and setting up a separate blog for your stories would be perfect!
